NEW Voting Incentive -- September 29, 2016

On the evening of September 29, 2016, we went ahead and added a new voting incentive for Wargyrl. This means that if you click on the banner link for TopWebComics above, you will raise our rank on TopWebComics.com. Then we will show you a NEW image of our characters which we created to reward readers like you. Thanks for helping us with this.

If you click on the 'buy' link below, you will go directly to the web site for DriveThroughComics.com, where you can buy the first eight issues of Wargyrl. The first issue only costs ninety-nine cents. The remaining seven issues cost a dollar and ninety-nine cents each, so the total for all eight issues together is fifteen dollars. That means four hundred and ninety-three pages, all in color, that you can read in a single session. If you would rather wait, all of the pages will appear on this website at the rate of three a week over the next few years. Either way, we are glad to have you with us.

I seam to see more & more fiction that has The South wining the war.
Peya Luna 29th Sep 2016, 1:04 PM edit delete reply
blame it on trump, he certainly acts as if he wants to reinstate slavery.....though it seems in wargyrls world the north managed to keep some territory, else a black could´ve NEVER become a lawyer.
the way i understand it south = dixie, north = america.
interesting! so chandler reports for a newspapaer in an area where slavery is forbidden, blacks have rights - and wargyrl+hellqueen would be considdered heroes, whereas dixie and the germans think them terrorists.

You are correct in your reading of the situation, Luna. We present the background of 'Wargyrl' on the Introduction page.

Jaime says "I seem to see more and more fiction that has The South winning the war. "

The Wargyrl Team replies "You are correct about that, Jaime. The issue remains relevant in fiction because it remains relevant in real life. As you know, there are many leaders in 'Dixie' who would like to go on fighting over many of the issues of the war, even today. We are including a good example below.

I live in Virginia. I'm very familiar with it.

while i´m not living in the US, a cousin of mine (blond, blue-eyed) married a black marine stationed in our country. when he was promoted to a base in georgia both her and their mixed kid were met with such glaring hostility she ended up moving back home for their safety. ironically though, it wasn´t just the white people shunning her as slut and/or traitor, but also the black for 'stealing' one of 'their' men....or dismissing her as a mere trophy wife. somehow, the concept of a genuine marriage between black and white was beyond all involved. i think its sad how rampant prejudices are still today.
